A few years back, a high school from Grand Rapids, MN attended one of our Cardinal Manufacturing workshops. They now have started their own student-run business and came back to see us again last week! #OneElevaStrum





Under the guidance of the extraordinary Mrs. Hannah Brown, a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher from CESA 10, students in Mrs. Sterry's 4K class are learning the art of communication through both sign language and verbal expression. So far they have been learning to sign: apple juice, orange juice, chocolate milk, water, ice, cereal, popcorn, apple, donut, more, please, and want.

Small Animal Science wrapped up the semester with a visit from Officer Hernandez and his incredible K9 partner, Luke. 🐾 From nose to tail, we delved into the training and duties that make these dynamic duos an essential part of our community. #OneElevaStrum




Avarie, our talented woodworker, putting the final touches on a project for a local business. 🛠️🪚 Cardinal Manufacturing's journey began with machining and metalworking, and now they''re expanding their skills to include woodworking. Exciting times ahead! #OneElevaStrum



The third grade students have been diving into the world of forces and motion! 🚀 They got hands-on with VEX kits, building various simple machines. 🛠️💡 Then came the challenge: design a compound machine to "Save the Tiger" by safely lifting and transporting a toy tiger. 🐅 Check out the pictures to see the students in action—planning, designing, and testing their awesome creations! 📸🤖

🏛️The Cardinal Historians have completed the new displays in the Central High School commons. Work began by archiving all the existing objects in the case and then selecting items to put back on display. 📝Students also researched and wrote labels and descriptive text for each of the displays as well. The themes of the new displays are "Eleva-Strum School History" and "Eleva-Strum Programs Then and Now".

4Krecently visited Cardinal Manufacturing! The older students helped the 4K kids sand and oil a wooden picture frame made by our wood shop with “Happy Holidays” engraved with our laser. The 4K also learned how to properly give a handshake and were rewarded with cookies!🍪What a fun visit for all! #OneElevaStrum








🎉Congrats to the HS Robotics Teams for their performance on Saturday, Dec. 16 at Rice Lake! Team 54770E was ranked first after match play and made it into the quarter finals along with Team 54770B which also were selected for the Judges Award and Team 54770D received the Excellence Award that qualified them for State Robotics in March.🤖 #OneElevaStrum




📚The Cardinal Historians recently visited the Eleva Historical Museum to complete research on country schools that were in the district before consolidation. 🤗Thank you to the museum staff for helping our students complete their project!

Feathering their caps with excellence, these peck-tacular champs were randomly selected for their outstanding efforts in school! 👮♀️Our criminal justice class has been fortunate to have some of our local law enforcement professionals come into our class and share their knowledge on various topics. Sheriff Semingson of Trempealeau County discussed the process by which a person can become a law enforcement officer and the duties of a sheriff. Strum Chief of Police Marsolek and Officer Rindal spoke to the CJ class about community policing and answered questions about their police equipment.
