The Eleva-Strum Railroad Club had a fantastic time at the Colfax Railroad Show on Saturday, August 31st! 🚂 They exhibited their layout, enjoyed running the trains, and answered questions from curious visitors. The club also made a stop at the Colfax Railroad Museum to explore the equipment and delve into some fascinating history. #OneElevaStrum
🏐The high school volleyball team participated in a “Sentimental Surprise” scavenger hunt designed to challenge the team to step out of their comfort zone, communicate effectively, compete, strengthen relationships, while having fun.
Legendary coach, Rich Roginski, kicked the event off with a motivational speech about the keys to a successful team. 🤗 A huge thank you to all of the people who helped volunteer their time; along with the local businesses that helped support our missions.

"👋Hello! My name is Sam VanWyk, or Ms. V. I graduated from UW Eau Claire in December of 2017 with a major in both Elementary Education and Special Education as well as a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Over the last six and a half years, I have worked as a Special Education Teacher in Eau Claire at both the middle and elementary levels. I am passionate about understanding each child as a whole individual, beyond just their role as a student, and finding supports and strategies that work best for them. To me, the first step in the journey is identifying and capitalizing on student strengths and interests. My goal is for each student to feel accepted, welcomed, and empowered to put forth their best effort.
I am looking forward to the change to a smaller district and working closely with the community at Eleva Strum."
