Attention all 4th-12th grade students and families! Auditions for Eleva-Strum's Fall musical, Tarzan, will be held Thursday, July 25th or Thursday, August 1st from 3:30-6:30 p.m. in the Eleva-Strum elementary school gym. This year there will be a theater camp held for the Tarzan cast to start rehearsal prior to the start of school. Tarzan rehearsal camp will be held August 5th-9th from 8:00-2:00 p.m., August 15th-16th from 8:00-2:00 p.m., and August 19th-20th from 3:30-6:30 p.m. To schedule an audition or for more information please contact seidla@esschools.k12.wi.us

Summer School Basketball Skills Academy!
There is still time to register for the Basketball Skills Academy Starting July 8th.
Students will learn fundamental skills to help them be successful. Taught by varsity and JV coaches and assisted by high school athletes, your child will learn the basics of passing, dribbling, shooting, and how to defend. Each week students will have quality repetition to reinforce skill development. Join us!

Our Earth Day community clean up event will be postponed until Friday, April 26th, due to anticipated inclement weather at the end of this week.

Our 4th grade students participating in an "Ellis Island" reenactment activity. Our advanced Spanish students helped lend some confusion by giving instructions in a foreign language. Kids love this learning experience! #CardinalPride

Mr. Hanson's group of Juniors had the opportunity to help guide some of our 6th grade students through a character building lesson during homeroom on March 5th. The group stepped up and led by example. Well done Mr. Hanson and crew!
General Notice: The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department will be using the vacant Strum Primary School for a training exercise on Tuesday, March 5th during the day. Several law enforcement vehicles will be in the area as a result.
Mr. Hanson’s Social Studies 9 classes have been learning about Wisconsin governments this year. They are currently studying local school districts. Mr. Kulig dropped by today to talk about how school districts are funded.
The girls basketball team has advanced to sectionals. The sectional semi-final game will be held in Arcadia on Thursday, February 28th @ 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the MS/HS office from noon on Wednesday the 27th until noon on Thursday the 28th during regular office hours.
The Ladies' Regional Final game WILL BE held tonight at Eleva-Strum Central High School. Doors will open at 6:00pm, tip at 7:00pm. Come on out and support our Lady Cards!
School will be canceled on Monday, February 25th. Road crews have suspended plowing operations for the night and will need time to clear all of the drifting snow.
