Since it is National Reading Month they are asking that you listen to the story The Most Magnificent Thing read by Jen from our partner CESA 10 and either have your child/children draw or create a Magnificent Thing. Once that is complete, please take a picture of it and send it too: escardinalpridepto@gmail.com One student's creation will be selected from those that participate and get a Magnificent Prize. All photos need to be submitted by Monday, March 15, 2021. Enjoy the story with your family. https://ensemble.cesa10.k12.wi.us/Watch/Rf2a3C9Z

Happy Holiday Season, This is just a reminder to please wear masks when you are near (picking up or dropping off your child) or planning to enter the school. We have been very diligent to follow through with this protocol with our staff and students. Another reminder is that material and meal pick-up is scheduled from 4-6pm on Wednesdays. The final reminder is that the next material and meal pick-up will be on Wednesday, January 6th. Enjoy your family during the break.

Hello Eleva-Strum Families~ You may pick-up elementary classroom materials during the day today from 11am-6 pm. If you have called and plan to pick-up meals, that time is from 4pm-6pm. Thanks for all of your support and let us know if we can support your children in anyway.

Cardinal Pride PTO would like to remind you to drop off any order forms for the Cardinal Pride Apparel Fundraiser this Wednesday, November 18th, at the school from 11am-6pm.

FAFSA is the free application for student aid. FAFSA is a way for students to be eligible for scholarships, grants, and loans. It is more important than ever to apply as soon as possible because this year has been tough on many families. There is only so much aid out there, and when it is gone, it is gone. Apply early to get the most help for your senior at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. For questions or concerns, please contact Meredith Risler at 715-695-2696 *320 or email at rislerm@esschools.k12.wi.us

Brrrr it's cold outside. The forecast is for snow in our area starting tomorrow, October 20. Please remember to send winter gear with your children starting tomorrow. Our expectation is for each student to have a hat, mittens/gloves, winter coat, snow pants and boots here at school so that they can enjoy the outdoors. Thank you, Mr. Kempf

Tomorrow is picture re-take day from 8:30-10. If you would like your child's picture retaken, if your new to the district or if you have chosen to remote learn for your children here's an opportunity to have your child's photo taken.
We will do our best to have only the photographers in the elementary gym for your pictures from 9:30-10:00 if you prefer not to be around others.
Please reach out to the elementary school if you have any questions.

This year our 6-12 Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on October 19th & 22nd, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Given the unprecedented circumstances this year, we are asking parents and students to schedule their time to either meet virtually via Zoom, or to have a phone conference with your student’s teacher. We understand that the times slotted may not necessarily be ideal for your family. If the scheduled conference times do not align with your schedule, please contact your student’s teacher directly to try to work out an alternative time to meet.
This year we will continue to utilize student-led conferences with your student's homeroom teacher. Your students will discuss what is going well, what they may be struggling with, will show you their Schoology app, and hopefully a goal they have set for themselves. Student-led conferences have been shown to increase responsibility for learning, intrinsic motivation, and academic achievement.
We will be using signup.com to schedule appointments, or you could contact your student's homeroom teacher directly to schedule a time. I have included the sign-up information for all of our teachers on the back of this letter. You can speak with someone other than your student's homeroom teacher. Currently, our teachers are meeting with between 16 and 24 students and parents. Please be respectful of their, and other parents' time.
