👮‍♀️Our criminal justice class has been fortunate to have some of our local law enforcement professionals come into our class and share their knowledge on various topics. Sheriff Semingson of Trempealeau County discussed the process by which a person can become a law enforcement officer and the duties of a sheriff. Strum Chief of Police Marsolek and Officer Rindal spoke to the CJ class about community policing and answered questions about their police equipment. 🤗We are grateful for the visits and the service of our law enforcement departments. #OneElevaStrum

Did you know our students have many opportunities to earn college credits in various career pathways while they are in high school? CVTC has been a valuable partner with School District of Eleva-Strum, providing opportunities for students that we cannot provide in-house. Please join us to learn more and get your questions answered, Monday, November 13 at 6 pm at the CVTC Business Education Center! CVTC and our district are hosting a parent and student information session for students in grades 8-11 to learn about college credit opportunities. CVTC offers many courses and academies that transfer to many four-year universities. We will share details regarding the four-year Business Management Associate’s Degree Academy for incoming freshman, as well as details regarding the Pre-Nursing Healthcare, Practical Nursing Degree Academy, Welding, IT, EMT, Residential Construction, and general education options. We will wrap up the evening by answering questions and helping students apply. 🏐✨ Reflecting on the unforgettable Eleva-Strum Dig Pink Volleyball Game against Whitehall! The fans brought the energy, the team brought their A-game, and the excitement was palpable from start to finish. Setting up the play was an art form in itself! We came together not only for the love of the game but for a greater cause. Rain or shine, the visit from Eleva and Strum Firefighters on Fire Safety Day was invaluable. Our students learned vital safety tips and got a glimpse into the firefighter journey.
