Newsletter

Welcome to the Eleva-Strum School District Special Education Family Newsletter! In this bi-monthly newsletter, you'll find a wealth of resources, important updates, and valuable information tailored to support the educational experience for families that have students in special education.

At Eleva-Strum, our aim is to empower and equip families with the tools they need. Our families are an integral part of our community, and we look forward to partnering with them.

Child Find Child Development Check-In

This is an opportunity for ongoing child development check-in, for children ages 2.5 and up until they enter kindergarten. We hold an annual “Child Development Days” event. Eligible children/families will receive more information about this via mail. At any time, a family can request an Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ3) to determine where their child is on their developmental journey. Once a year, we will formally send out a questionnaire to families with children between 2.5 and 4 years of age.

If you have not received a questionnaire or have concerns prior, please contact Courtney Stearns, Director of Pupil Services/School Psychologist at 715-695-2696 ext. 107 or stearnsc@esschools.k12.wi.us Special Education Referrals: Please contact Courtney Stearns, Director of Pupil Services/School Psychologist if you believe your student may have academic, behavioral, social, emotional or other needs that require Special Education services. 715-695-2696 ext. 107 or stearnsc@esschools.k12.wi.us
